The morning stock market stressor
The alarm clock on the dresser

Groan from shifting tectonic plates
What and who decides our fate

As warlords pump overpriced fuel
We have stopped teaching in our schools

Blood of the fathers given to the mother
It boils on the stove for sister and brother

The Golden Calf gleaming in man-made light
Feeding everyone’s longing gaze day and night

False prophets commit adulterous acts
Humble men numb from thought of lack

This a time of flood and confusion
Our is world shrinking from the illusion

Our anger eats our internal organs
While advertisers write their nonsense slogans

Where are we going what have we learned
Another cue started and another country burned

The deadly virus must be stopped
The pentagon orders a nuclear drop

With all the shock trauma of seeing too much
Medicated zombies ingesting their crutch

Come Jesus, Buddha and Mohammed
Your time to appear is sorely needed

          Our time rolls by faster than we can steal
                Miracles are needed for us to heal

A great material gaping hole
Corporations are killing our soul

Passed down like a plague from high office
We got to get real its time to stop this

The solution is now here
It must become clear

Working together to make it better
Hand in hand we still can weather

As a smile bends our face
Peace makes our human race

From darkness to light
We the people will fight

For a cause so just
We must give our trust

United we stand divided we fall
Forget the past it’s our last call
